- BANANA – You can use bananas as a natural face mask to help moisturize your skin, and leave it feeling smooth and silky! Mash up a ripe medium sized banana, and rub it over your face. Then, after 10-15 minutes, wash off with cold water.
- MILK – Use 1/4 cup of powdered milk with enough water to make a paste-feeling texture. Put all over your face, and let it sit. When dry, rinse completely with warm water. This helps rejuvenate your skin, and leave it feeling fresh on any of your “blah” days!
- OATMEAL – Oatmeal as a face mask is very soothing. So many people use this one for a quick pick-me-up to start the day off, or to end it right. Combine 1/2 cup hot — not boiling — water and 1/3 cup oatmeal/. After water and oatmeal have settled, for 2-3 mins, mix in 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 table-spoons honey, and 1 small egg white. Apply a thin layer to your face, let sit for 10-15 minutes. Wash with warm water.
- LEMON – This DIY facial not only exfoliates your skin, but also moisturizes! Mix lemon juice from 1 whole lemon, with 1/4 cup cup of olive oil or sweet almond oil. Put on face, then let sit for a few minutes, then rinse.
